MISSION... Our Daily Bread provides nutritious meals and facilitates referrals for other services to those in need.
SOUP KITCHEN... Serves an average of 200 meals daily, Noon to 1:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
PROGRAMS: ...Volunteer Program Coordinators work with clients to match their needs with community agencies or other available support areas.
VOLUNTEERS... from more than 26 local Churches and many other community organizations help to prepare and serve meals to the hungry and support other programs and services.
Our Daily Bread, a community soup kitchen in Denton Texas....
..serves a substantial noon meal Monday through Friday, without questions, to the hungry and homeless.
A professional chef and assistant, aided by volunteers from more than 26 local churches and other community organizations, prepares and serves an average of 200 meals a day. Meals are served from 12:00 noon until 1:15 PM daily except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. We close on these days to give our volunteers a much-needed break. Many other agencies serve a hearty meal on these days.
Our Daily Bread is more than a meal, and offers additional programs to meet the needs of our clients.
