Cynthia has been using Our Daily Bread’s services for about three to four years. Whether it was mail, a meal, or simply a place to get out of the heat, ODB was there for her. After going through a domestic violence situation, ODB quickly stepped in to help, connecting her with resources and getting her into a women’s shelter.

She shared how the small things at ODB make her feel valued—like when staff remember her favorite color and pick out clothing vouchers just for her. Cynthia is especially grateful for the laundry services and the way ODB consistently takes good care of its guests.

Looking ahead, she is excited about the day she will have a place of her own where she can be reunited with her dog. Her message to other guests at ODB is simple but powerful: the small things really do go a long way.
