Each year Our Daily Bread undergoes rigorous monitoring by grant funders ensuring we meet the highest standards of operational integrity. A poor review could result in penalties, including the suspension of programs or the return of funds. However, we are proud to say that we have never received a negative monitoring report nor been required to return funds—an achievement that speaks to our unwavering commitment to excellence.

Our Daily Bread does not receive funding from federal, state, or county sources. Therefore, our work relies primarily on donations, grants, and community partnerships to sustain our mission.

Our Daily Bread is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness in Denton County. While we are not a City of Denton program or entity, we operate out of a facility owned and renovated by the City of Denton called the Denton Community Shelter. This partnership allows us to provide essential services at a greater scale. All programming, staffing, and operations are managed entirely by Our Daily Bread. We are grateful to also receive grant funding from the City of Denton, currently our only municipal supporter.
